Leisl leads EDQ's Urban Development team. She is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of EDQ’s Queensland-wide urban renewal development portfolio covering Major Precincts such as Northshore Hamilton (Queensland’s largest waterfront precinct) and Lumina at the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct, and Mixed Use and Residential Precincts including Carseldine Village; Parkside Yeronga; Songbird Oxley and Yeerongpilly Green as well as all regional residential land holdings. She also plays a lead role in State priority projects, including the 2032 Olympics programme.
With 30 years’ experience in the property industry across private sector and government, Leisl is passionate about achieving successful and innovative outcomes in: complex urban renewal; precinct creation, governance and implementation; the delivery of economic, social and community infrastructure; and investment partnerships between public and private entities.
Leisl is most accomplished working in partnerships between government entities, universities, not for profit organisations and private sector to create and deliver complex urban renewal precincts, as well as the range of asset types that sit within them, always with a view to economic and social benefit.
