How to make a submission
A submission is a written comment that can be made by any interested person, group or organisation.
When to lodge a submission
To comment on draft provisional land use plans (PLUP), development schemes and amendments, you must lodge the submission during the specified submission period. Draft PLUPs, development schemes and amendments are published on the relevant PDA page on the EDQ website. The submission period is a minimum of 30 business days for a proposed development scheme and 15 business days for an amendment to a development scheme or draft PLUP.
The Minister for Economic Development Queensland (MEDQ) must consider all submissions made about the development scheme or amendment that are received during the submission period.
