What authentication method is being applied?
  • We are using Queensland Digital Identity (QDI) as an authentication method.
  • QDI, is Queensland Government’s secure digital identity system that allows individuals to verify who they are online and access government services more easily.
How do I Sign up?
  • If you a new applicant there will be a link to sign up on the Log in screen

  • Start by reviewing the Troubleshooting Guide for common issues and solutions. If problems persist, contact the QDI support team for further assistance.

Form Lodgement

What file types are accepted for document uploads?
  • Accepted file types: .pdf, .docx, .xlsx, .pptx, .csv, .txt, .jpg, .png, .mp4, .mp3.
  • Accepted CAD file types: .DWG, .DXF, .STEP, .STP, .IGES, .SLDPRT, .SLDASM, .STL (etc.).
Are ZIP files allowed to be uploaded?
  • No
What is the maximum file size I can upload for a single attachment?
  • Each individual file must be no larger than 50MB.
Can I upload multiple files in one application submission?
  • Yes - you may upload multiple files within a single application process, provided that the sum of all the files remains under 50 MB.
Is there a total size limit for all uploads tied to one application process?
  • Yes. The total combined size of all attachments for one application may not exceed 10 GB.
What happens if I try to upload a file that exceeds the 50 MB limit, or push the total over 10 GB?
  • The system will prevent the upload. You will need to either:
    • reduce the file size (e.g., compress the file); or
    • split your upload into smaller files
Can I save my lodgement and return later to finish the form?
  • Yes. You will have up to 60 days from when you first start your application to complete and submit it.
How long do I have to lodge the form?
  • You have 60 days from when you initiate the application to submit it.
Can I view or download a draft copy of my application?
  • No, draft versions are not available for download.
Can I cancel a form before or after submission?
  • You cannot cancel via the portal. Please contact EDQ to request cancellation.

Post Lodgement

What happens after I submit my form?
  • You can see the status of your application: via Your Application dashboard which show In Progress and Submitted.
  • You will also be contacted by the Assessment Manager within 2 business days to be notified of the application fee and introduction.
