Northshore wins Excellence in Environmental Outcomes Award at ISC Annual Gala

Northshore Hamilton wins Excellence in Environmental Outcomes award

We are thrilled to announce that Northshore Hamilton has been recognised with the prestigious Sustainability Leadership Award for Excellence in Environmental Outcomes at the Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) Annual Gala. This award celebrates the Northshore Hamilton Street Renewal Program, which has made a significant environmental impact by increasing tree canopy cover across the precinct.

The program not only helps cool outdoor spaces and reduce heat exposure but also creates vibrant habitats for local wildlife by delivering extensive tree canopy cover, benefiting both residents and visitors. Climate-resilient trees, alongside culturally significant vegetation for First Nations peoples, are integral to the program, supporting a greener and more sustainable future for the community.

Northshore Hamilton exemplifies Economic Development Queensland’s (EDQ) commitment to developing high-quality, sustainable urban communities. Its innovative designs enhance climate resilience, encourage active transportation, and promote eco-friendly lifestyles. We are proud to lead the way in creating greener, healthier precincts for both current and future generations.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) for this esteemed recognition. This achievement would not have been possible without the vision and commitment of our dedicated team and partners, whose collaboration has been instrumental in delivering these lasting environmental benefits.
