Your team – Corporate Services
The Corporate Services business unit provides a range of essential services to support EDQ, including financial management, digital solutions, procurement, marketing and engagement, human resources, workplace health and safety, and other corporate functions. The team also offers guidance and technical expertise in reviewing business cases for current and prospective projects.
The Marketing and Engagement (M&E) team leads all marketing and engagement functions across EDQ, operating as an end‑to‑end shared services unit for the organisation. The team plays a critical role in supporting the successful launch of new projects and government initiatives by delivering strategic, coordinated, and high‑quality marketing solutions.
Your contribution
In this role, you will:
- Lead the development and implementation of best practice stakeholder and community engagement strategies across EDQ planning and development projects, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and project objectives.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing engagement team, setting clear direction, building capability, and fostering a collaborative, accountable and inclusive culture.
- Provide strategic advice to senior leaders, project teams and partners on engagement approaches, risks and opportunities, supporting informed decision-making in complex and dynamic environments.
- Establish and drive consistent, coordinated and systemised engagement practices across EDQ, including frameworks, tools, processes and governance to support a shared service model.
- Work closely with Marketing, Communications and project teams to deliver integrated outcomes, improve ways of working and reduce duplication of engagement activity across the organisation.
- Build and sustain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government, industry, local government and community representatives, to enable collaborative and customer-focused outcomes.
- Oversee the design and delivery of consultation programs, ensuring community insights are captured, analysed and used to inform project outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Represent EDQ in stakeholder forums, working groups and public-facing activities, providing clear, consistent and professional representation of the organisation.
- Develop high-quality reports, briefings and insights, translating complex information into clear advice for executive audiences.
- Monitor performance, risks and issues across engagement activities, proactively adjusting strategies and supporting the team to respond effectively to change and competing priorities.
- Identify opportunities to improve engagement approaches, systems and capability, encouraging innovation and the adoption of best practice across the team.
