Krista Adams
Ms Adams brings over two decades of senior leadership in government, having served as Deputy Mayor of Brisbane — the largest local government in Australia. During her tenure, she held multiple Civic Cabinet Chair roles spanning economic development, city planning, finance, governance, and the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Ms Adams played a pivotal role in driving Brisbane’s economic growth, overseeing a gross regional product of $181 billion, and establishing the city as a globally competitive hub for commerce, trade and investment.
A passionate advocate for community and sport, Ms Adams was instrumental in attracting major international events to Brisbane and led the development of the Brisbane 2032 Masterplan. Her experience spans international relations, multicultural affairs, strategic planning, and disaster management. Ms Adams holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
